Verna Mae Baty was born July 30, 1937 in Ronan, Montana to Howard and Marian Hall. She married Bob Baty on August 31, 1956 in Pasco, Washington. In 1961 they moved to Branson, Missouri. Verna was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She overflowed with love and care for her family and enjoyed taking trips visit them. Verna was a friendly, outgoing and very social. She loved being with people and catching up with what was going on in their lives. If she wasn't caring for her family, or talking with friends you could catch her shopping, another favorite pastime.
Verna entered into rest on Thursday, November 26 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bob Baty.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Baty, Jr. (Judy) of Branson, Brandon Baty (Destiny) of Merriam Woods, Debbie Hall of Portland, Oregon, Kathy Layton (Gail) of Branson, Kim Madden (Bob) of Forsyth, Kolleen Plummer (David) of Kirbyville, Kristina Smith (Michael) of Smithville, Missouri and Karon Baty (Randy Fisher) of Branson; her brothers, Butch Hall ( Clarie) of Arizona and Roger Hall of Washington; sisters, June, Deanie and Bobbie (Stu) of Washington along with nineteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Verna will be laid to rest next to her husband Bob in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp- Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson, Missouri.
