MARY J. ANDREWS-MITCHELL East Chicago Age 89 passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Methodist Hospital, Northlake Campus in Gary. Survivors: two sons, Clarence (Mae D.) Andrews of Gary and Rome (Charlene G.) Andrews Jr. of Hammond; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; special niece, Delores Berry of Gary; dear friend, Mary Ann Andrews of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Bertha Smith of Atlanta; two brothers-in-law, Major Smith and John Henry Mitchell, both of East Chicago and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husbands, Rome Andrews, Sr., and Rev. Lurenzy Mitchell; and son, Kenneth Andrews. Friends may call Tuesday, May 17, 2005 Mission For Christ COGIC from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2005 11 a.m. Mission For Christ COGIC, 3101 W. 41st. Ave. Calumet Township. Bishop Charles Black officiating. Interment Fern Oaks Cemetery, Griffith. Hinton & Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
