William "Cornelius" Deuel known as Cornelius, in Louisville, where he farmed and was a hotel operator. He married, perhaps in Fort Covington 16 October 1829 Sarah Henry. After Cornelius died, his widow moved west with her children. Sarah died in Des Moines, Iowa 18 June 1903; her place of burial has been recently located.
