Shirley Ann Hall Sitton of Nacogdoches Texas went to be with our Lord on November 28th, 2020 at a hospital in Tyler Texas.

Shirley was born in Houston Texas on July 22nd, 1939 to Rex Hall and Mary Prewitt Hall. She attended school at Sheldon ISD and graduated from C.E. King High School in 1958. During her high school years she was an outstanding student and very popular amongst teachers and students. She was in the Future Homemakers of America Club and the Nurse's Club. She was also selected C.E. King's Football Sweetheart and the Future Farmers of America's Sweetheart. In 1958 she was selected Miss C.E. King. Shirley was also a Panther High School cheerleader.

Shirley worked as a secretary in Houston for several years. In the fall of 1966 she went to work as a secretary in the Superintendent's office of J. H. Crenshaw. While working there she met Bob Sitton who was an assistant football coach on the Panther's staff. They were married on February 17, 1967.

Shirley and Bob moved to East Texas in 1970. Shirley worked a few years at the Soil Conservation office, but spent most of her time caring for her home and family. She had an eye for beauty and loved creating a warm and beautiful home for her family.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Bob Sitton, of 53 years. She is also survived by her three children; Kevin Roeseler, Karen Roeseler Stacy and Karl Sitton. She had five grandchildren; Hannah Joy Stacy, Caleb Stacy, Mary Grace Stacy Hill, Daniel Stacy and John Reimer, and three great-grandchildren; Olivia Stacy, Heidi Stacy and Isaac Thornton; sister, Nancy Harrison; brother Buddy Russell, wife Debbie.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Dr. Jerry Jones and Dr. Brent Bullard will officiate, eulogy by Tim Stacy. Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Thomas Sitton, Seth Sitton, Dan Sitton, Caleb Stacy, Derek Zammeron and John Reimer.
