Mary Ann (McNally) Ahrnsbrak, born in Guthrie, March 20, 1927, peacefully passed away December 20, 2006. She was raised north of town on the family farm. Mary Ann formed many life long friendships that have continued until this day.

She reigned as 89er Queen in 1943 and continued her lifelong love of horses and all other animals. In 1944 Mary Ann sold a bus ticket to a soldier and after his stint in Germany and her graduation from Nurses Training at St. Anthony's in Oklahoma City, they married and began a wonderful adventuresome life living abroad in South America and Saudi Arabia, visiting countries worldwide. In 1976, they retired and returned to Oklahoma. Mary Ann continued her love of traveling and medical service by completing several medical mission trips in Latin America and Europe. She also traveled abroad to meet bridge friends she met while playing on line, demonstrating a zest for life regardless of age.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Frank Ahrnsbrak of the home, her daughter Pat Barnes of Arcadia, OK, granddaughter Jessica Rogers of Charlotte, NC, her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, Mike, Jody, and Mic Ahrnsbrak of Guthrie, as well as numerous friends and family who will live in spirit with her memories and strong faith.
