CUMBERLAND, MD —Jennie Marie Bascelli, 102, Cumberland, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at the Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab Center.
Born on November 21, 1918 she was the daughter of the late Pasqual and Filomena Rossi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Anthony Bascelli, on December 19, 1991; and a son, Albert J. Bascelli, Jr.
Jennie was a homemaker all of her life and she was excellent at cooking, baking and sewing. But most of all she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is survived by her children, Louis A. Bascelli and wife Jennifer, Lawrence Bascelli and wife Brenda, and Juliann P. Bascelli; daughter-in-law, Lynn Bascelli; grandchildren, Brandon Bascelli and wife Heather, Dana Bascelli, Kara Kocic and husband Marco, Tara Strother and husband Jeremy, and Joseph Bascelli and wife Kim, Kaitlyn Sines and husband Dale, Amber Mallow and husband Michael, Angelo Bascelli and wife Misty, Mario Bascelli and wife April; great-grandchildren, Bailey Olguin, Roman, Aiden, Olivia, and Lorelei Bascelli, Charlotte and Austin Jahnigen, Ava and Emma Strother, Cadence and Reyna Bascelli, Brayden and Sam Mallow, Demetri, Myles, Anthony, Nicholas Bascelli, Tanisha Washington; and a great great-granddaughter Ryleigh Grace Hartung; and former daughter-in-law Tina Bascelli and her mother Renata Lewis.
