Paul was a graduate of McConnellsburg High School Class of 1974. He was employed as a truck driver for Helicopter Applicators Inc., Gettysburg, Pennsylvania for several years.
He is survived by two brothers: John R. Akers and Daniel M. Akers; four nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
