He leaves his wife, Viola Madeline (Pamer), whom he married in Summit County on July 23, 1942; daughter, Mrs. Sharon R. Ball; sons, Nelson R. and Duane R. Carter, all of Akron, and William Paul Carter of Norton; four grandchildren; brother, Raymond Carter of Livingston, TN; sisters, Mrs. Oma Carmack, Detroit, Mrs. Dona Hogue, Orlando, FL, Mrs. Lola Reels, Cookville, TN, and Mrs. Zelpha Buck of Livingston, TN.
Services in Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home on Monday at 1 p.m. with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.
