Mrs Celia Agnes Hansen, 48, wife of Julius A. Hansen, died at the home on 43rd avenue, in Forest Park subdivision Monday morning at 11 o'clock after a week's illness. Mrs Hansen has been in best of health until taken ill a week ago.
Mrs Hansen was born in Colby, Wis., December 29, 1879, the daughter of Mr and Mrs James Graham. She spent her early life in Colby attending grade schools and graduation from high school. She taught school for three years and then went to Waupaca, Wis., where she was engaged as a nurse in the Wisconsin Veterans Home. On Mary 28, 1904, she married Julius A. Hansen. Mrs Hansen was well known in Kenosha, a devoted mother, and a woman of strong character. Seventeen years ago she came to Kenosha and has made her home her since that time.
She is survived by her husband and one son and a daughter, Harold C. Hansen and Miss Marjorie B. Hansen of Kenosha. Four brothers and three sisters, William Graham of Waupaca, Wis.; Richard Graham of Fond du Lac, Wis.; Edward of Waupaca, Wis.; James of Stevens Point, Wis.; Mrs Myrtle Turner of Waupaca; Mrs Roy Bedal of Attica, Ind, and Mrs Eva Thrizenski of Chicago, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Hansen funeral home, interment following in the family polot in Green Ridge cemetery.
