Shirley A. Plunkett 90, Gallitzin died November 27, 2020 at the Village of Morrison Cove, Martinsburg. Born July 23, 1930 in Hollidaysburg the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Fissell) Malone.

Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sr. on August 26, 2003, sons Samuel on March 7, 2017, Stephen on April 6, 2019, an infant son Douglas James, sister Edith Dibosky and brother James. Survived by her children, Joseph Jr. (Laura) and Nancy (Joseph) Glasgow, grandchildren, Paula (Jeff) Powless, Brian (Ali), Melanie Plunkett, Adam (Beth) Glasgow, Matt (Emma) Glasgow and Sarah Glasgow, great grandchildren, Connor, Juliana, Harper, Colin, Nicklas, Grace, and Anna.

Shirley enjoy spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren, cooking and taking care of her family.

A viewing for the family will be held at 1pm Monday followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. Committal Union Cemetery, Gallitzin the Pastor Stephen Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers the request donations be made to Sister Paula’s Soup Kitchen, 2201 Union Ave. Altoona, PA 16601 in Shirley’s memory.
