WEAVER -- Gilbert Henry Weaver, 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2007 after a short illness. Born in Grand Valley, OK, Gil moved to New Mexico with his family in the 1930s. After graduating from Albuquerque High School in 1942, Gil entered the Navy and served as a machinist until discharged in 1946. Upon his return he worked at the Packard Dealership until settling into a career at Sandia Laboratory. He retired after 25 years. Gil had a life long love of motorcycles. Gil is survived by his wife of 58 years, . . . ; four children, . . . [one son & 3 daughters]; grandchildren, . . . [eight]; and five great-grandchildren; brothers, . . . [two]; sisters, . . . [four]. Services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
