Mrs. Susanna Agnes Spindler, wife of Thomas J. Spindler, of Albion, died Saturday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at her home after a few days' illness. Mrs. Spindler had been in feeble health for some time, but only since last Thursday had her condition caused any alarm. Heart trouble complicated with a bronchial and lung affection caused her death.

Mrs. Spindler, nee Wiltfong, was born in Berrien County, Michigan, on December 7, 1837. She came to Iowa in 1853 with her aunt Mrs. Thomas Parnell, with whom she lived, and located at Albion, which has ever since been her home.

She was married at Albion by Rev. W.C. Smith, who is still living, on May 20, 1880, to Thomas J. Spindler, who survives her. Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Spindler, and two, Mrs. L.W. Fiscus of Albion and Miss Evelyn Spindler of Minneapolis, survive. A brother, George Wiltfong is supposed to be living somewhere in the state of Kansas, his exact whereabouts are unknown. Mrs. N.S. Smith of Des Moines, is a cousin of the deceased.

Mrs. Spindler's funeral will be held from the Methodist Church at Albion, Rev. W.H. Scott of this city, officiating.
