DIES IN FRESNO


After an Illness of less than a week, Inez, Ettamay Abbott, aged 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Abbott residing In the Island district, passed away Monday morning at the St. Agnes hospital in Fresno.

The girl was taken sick Wednesday, and as her condition became alarming she was taken to the Fresno hospital where the trouble was diagnosed as a throat infection. She was placed in the care of two throat specialists.

Miss Abbott was a member of the Island Girls 4-H club, and had been selected as a delegate to the Davis convention which she could not attend, because of her illness.

She is survived by her parents. Mr. and Mrs, Roy Abbott; a brother. Earl Abbott; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Abbott; Mrs. Fannie Forcade, all of the Island, and a grandfather, a Mr. Sprague of Denver, Colorado.

The funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Peoples Undertaking company, Thursday. The exact hour had not been fixed at this writing.
