In about 1870, Elizabeth married Robert Archibald Dobbin.
Mrs Dobbin died at her home, 121 West Fayette Avenue on October 4, 1908. She was a member of one of the most prominent families in Maryland. Funeral services took place at Grace Protestant Episcopal Church, conducted by Rev Dr Arthur Chilton Powell, rector.
