Mrs. Spielman died Monday at a Winchester nursing home. She was born July 18, 1898, in Topeka.
She lived in Arrington before she moved to the Ozawkie community in 1942.
Mrs. Spielman was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ozawkie. She was a former member of Pleasant View Grange, Lowry Sunshine Club and Rebekah Lodge No. 594, all at Ozawkie, and the Highlander Club in Topeka.
She was a leader several years for the Cracker Jack 4-H Club at McLouth and Fairview 4-H Club at Ozawkie.
She married Lew W. Spielman on March 11, 1920, in Beloit. He died April 19, 1958.
Survivors include two daughters, Margery Martin, Winchester, and Mary Jane Hoffer, Lecompton; a son, Lewis Spielman, Ozawkie; two brothers, Sam Bigham, Santa Clara, Calif., and Raymond Bigham, Meriden; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
