RAPSTINE
Regina B. Rapstine entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at the age of 90 years. She was born June 16, 1920, in Cestohowa, Texas to John and Gertrude Mutz Biela, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Peter Paul Rapstine, and her brothers Joseph, Ben, Henry and Conrad Biela; and sisters Theresa and Cecilia Biela. Regina attended Pulaski schools. She married Peter Paul Rapstine on September 28, 1948, in Kosciusko, Texas. Regina and Pete owned and operated East End Glass Company in southeast San Antonio for many years. Regina was an active member of Saint Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in San Antonio, and for a number of years had enjoyed volunteering at the Church's St. Vincent de Paul Society events. She was an outgoing person who had many friends. Regina was dearly loved by her family as well as her extended family of nieces and nephews, all of whom she spoiled with her delicious homemade goodies of fudge, spiced pecans, and sand tarts. Regina is survived by son Peter John Rapstine; daughter Janice Heinz and husband John; grandchildren April Milner and husband James, Michael Heinz, and Amie; step-grandchild, Patricia Rutledge; great-grandchildren Dalton, Nathan, Lezli and Sara; step-great-grandchildren, Faith and Charity; sister, Agnes Dugi; sisters-in-law Emma Kotara and Dorothy Rapstine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011, in St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, with recitation of the Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday in St. Margaret Mary's Church, followed by a Procession for interment in St. Ann's Cemetery in Kosciusko, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of:
