H. John Pastorelle, 66, a lifelong resident of White Plains, died Thurs., September 19, 2002. Mr. Pastorelle was born on July 16, 1936 in White Plains to the late Marguerite (Xavier) and Dominic Pastorelle. He was a graduated of Archbishop Stepinac High School and received a bachelor degree from Lewis University in Illinois. Mr. Pastorelle was a past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. in White Plains. He was a friend to numerous charitable organizations. Mr. Pastorelle was employed at the Burke Rehabilitation Center. He is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. He was in the Air Force National Guard and was discharged as a Sergeant. Mr. Pastorelle survived by 2 brothers Francis X. Pastorelle of Illinois, and Peter J. Pastorelle of Mount Kisco. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Paul M. Pastorelle and Dominic J. Pastorelle, M.D.. He is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Visitation will take place on Wed. from 5-9pm with a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
