David Slape, 21-years-old, was taken from us too soon but will forever live in our hearts. He was always happy and had jokes filled with laughter. Dave was a big guy with a big heart. He always looked after his sister and younger cousins and loved spending time out on the water with his uncles. Fishing with his father was his favorite pastime. Friends were always considered family to him.

David is survived by his father, Tom Slape and his older sister, Briana Slape. As well as grandparents, uncles, aunts and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Katrina Torres-Slape. We will miss your smile and how you lit up a room. You're with Mom and Grandpa now. Our Guardian Angels.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 3847 N. Sutter Street, Stockton, California.
