Janie Cunningham Fuller, age 92, of Cadiz, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, at her home. She was born March 6, 1927, in Trigg County, to the late James Alexander and Grace Lee Wilson Cunningham.
Janie married Tom Fuller on September 8, 1944, and they were blessed with 13 children. She was no stranger to hard work as a mother and a homemaker, all while working daily on their family farm. Janie loved God and her family unconditionally. She was a longtime member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Fuller; one son, Robert Earl Fuller; two grandsons, Tommy Williams and Gary Wayne Williams; a granddaughter, Rachel Parker; a brother, James Taylor Cunningham; two sisters, Fannie Cunningham Dawson and Dorothy Lee Cunningham Dawson; two sons-in-law, Ronnie Oliver and Jimmy Williams; and a daughter-in-law, Angela K. Tucker Fuller.
She is survived by four sons, Henry Thomas (Debra) Fuller of Cadiz, William (Pattie) Fuller of Richmond, Ky., Lacey (Teresa) Fuller of Hickman, Ky., and Charles Fuller of Elmwood, Tenn.; eight daughters, Bonnie Williams, Mary (Freddie) Ezell, Elizabeth (Ryan) Merrick, Elsie (Timmy) Johnson, and Erma (Danny) Boyd, all of Cadiz, Gladys (Chris) Steger of Hopkinsville, Carolyn Oliver of Elkton, and Shirley (Robert) Williams of Gracey; 37 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren; and 28 great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019. Funeral services will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2019, with Rev. Steve Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Stewart Cemetery in Cadiz.
