Dorothy A. (Meyer) Redinger left this earth to be with her Creator on Oct. 20, 2020. She expired of natural causes in the arms of her husband and two of her daughters. She graduated from John Rogers High School in Spokane, and from the Sacred Heart School of Nursing, also in Spokane. Dorothy worked as a registered nurse in the states of Washington, Montana, Kentucky, Indiana and California, as her husband was transferred about the country with his employer. She and Bob met at a dance at Gonzaga University while she was a student nurse in 1948. She and Bob were married in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Spokane on Nov. 8, 1949. They spent nearly 71 delightful years in each other's company.

While living in Henderson, Kentucky, Dorothy became interested in golf and tennis, both of which remained a part of her life until her early 80s. They relocated to the Fairway Boulevard community in Kalispell in 2001, where she served as secretary of the Home Owners Association for 16 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, at the home in Kalispell; and by eight children, Patricia of Kalispell, Lorraine and Grant Hall of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joseph and Debra Redinger of Kalispell, Lawrence of Pearland, Texas, Joan and James Driscoll of Kalispell, Matthew and Ann Redinger of Great Falls, Roberta and Ronald Scheinin of Aurora, Colorado, and Mary Francis and Stephen Fox of Gilbert, Arizona; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Theodore and Jerome, and sisters Alyce and Beverly.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Donald, John, William, Bruce and Richard; and sisters, June, Mary, Donna and Elizabeth.

A rosary will be offered for her at St. Matthew's Catholic Church Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. A Mass celebrating her life will be offered at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Kalispell on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Roderick Ermatinger as celebrant. Cremation has taken place. A private inurnment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery at Trentwood, Washington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to be made in Dorothy's name to St. Matthew's Catholic Parish, 602 S. Main St., Kalispell; or to the Flathead Food Bank, P.O. Box 2918, Kalispell; or Samaritan House, 124 9th Ave. W., Kalispell, MT 59901.
