Peggy S. Baer, 61, of Chambersburg, departed this life on the morning of Sunday, November 15, 2020, at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.

She was born on February 2, 1959, in Chambersburg, a daughter of Clarence H. Adams, Sr., and the late Mary L. “Dottie” (Keefer) Adams and was a 1977 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Peggy married Richard E. Baer on October 22, 1978 in Pleasant Hall.

Peggy was employed at Shippensburg University as a Bakery Supervisor. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and baking. Peggy also liked to craft and paint, and she enjoyed decorating around her home.

In addition to her husband of 42 years, Richard, she is survived by her daughter, Amber H. Disney and husband Chad of Shippensburg; two grandchildren, Jocelyn and Tristan Disney, both of Shippensburg; her sister, Deb K. Brown and husband Charlie of Orrstown; her brother, Clarence H. Adams, Jr., of Amberson; and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania.
