Roy Hulett, 49, 1515 Fourth street west, Waterloo, agent for the Chicago Great Western railroad, died Monday at 5 p. m. following an injury sustained when he attempted to open a box car while at work.
Death was due to internal injuries caused by the strain of tugging at the car door. Mr. Hulett felt no ill effects immediately after the accident, but became ill shortly after going home for lunch. He died at his home within a few hours.
Mr. Hulett had been in the employ of the Great Western in Waterloo. since 1918. He is survived by the widow, two sons, Harry and Ernest, both of Waterloo, and by his mother, Mrs. Emily P. Hulett, who made her home with him.
