Elizabeth Marie Wilkins, 82, of Yanceyville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at her residence, after a decline in health for the past year.
Ms. Wilkins was born on April 5, 1938, in Caswell County, NC, a daughter of the late John Henry Wilkins and the late Emma Webster Wilkins.
She spent all of her life in Caswell County where she worked as a sewer for over forty years for Royal Textile Co. until her retirement. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Kay W. Murphy, of Yanceyville, NC and Maxine W. Earle and husband Eddie, of Leasburg, NC; two brothers, Clare Owen Wilkins and wife Patricia, of Burlington, NC, and Billy R. Wilkins and wife Cindy, of Leasburg, NC; and eleven nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Henry Basil Wilkins and Thomas Andrew Wilkins.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Lancaster officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Beulah Baptist Church, 1834 US HWY 158 East, Yanceyville, NC, 27379. The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Virginia Murphy, 1021 Main St., Yanceyville, NC, 27379. Wrenn-Yeatts Memorial Funeral Home, Yanceyville, NC, is serving the Wilkins family.
