Betty J. Bolliger, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Recitation of the rosary will be Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel,

Betty was born September 6, 1924, in Miles City, Montana, to Charles and Maud Vonderheide. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, graduating in 1941. She went on to take nurses' training in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she met and later married Walter Fred Bolliger.

She was a longtime and active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where she worked as both secretary and bookkeeper for over 25 years.

Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, and a son, Byron Bolliger.

She is survived by her children, Janey Armstrong and husband, Tom, Fred Bolliger and wife, Robin, and Rick Bolliger and wife, Sandy; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
