Daughter of Hugo and Nora Younts. She served numerous congregations as a pianist and choir director, including the Reynoldsburg Church of the Nazarene. Most recently, she served as pianist at the Goldston, NC United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar Gillis; and sister, Marjorie. She is survived by children, Dennis (and Cheryl) King of Blacklick, OH; David (and Kim) King of Holly Ridge, NC; Philip (and Joann) King of McConnelsville, OH, and Rebecca Mitchell of Cartersville, VA; eleven grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan, and Stephen King, Jessica Corpening, Gregory King, James Sheppard, Amber Hill, Benjamin King, Josh Watkins, Katie Mitchell and Andrew Mitchell; nine great-grandchildren; and her sister, Martha Adkins of Hartford City, IN.
