Mr. Charles "Skip" Bethea Caton, Jr., of Montgomery, AL went to be with our Lord in heaven on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020. He was born in Andalusia, AL, on Dec. 14, 1938 to the late Carolyn Brunson and Charles "Fay" Bethea Caton, Sr.

He was a University of Alabama graduate in journalism. He was a news director/ anchor and also produced film documentaries, television commercials and ads for political campaigns for his business, Charles Caton Films; also film production for the Alabama Farmers' Federation and at AUTV at Maxwell AFB. He was a National Free Flight Champion, duck hunter and great fisherman. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his Labrador retrievers. Our father had a fantastic life.

He was married to his high school sweetheart, the late Phyllis Rawls Caton of Andalusia, AL.

He is preceded in death by his beloved brother, Christopher Seale Caton, Sr. of Andalusia, AL.
