Andrew William Meyer, 24, of Austin, Texas passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was born November 13, 1984 to Donnie and Debbie (D’Arcy) Meyer. He grew up in Alvin and was an athlete and graduate of Alvin High School. Andrew held a true love for life, his family, friends, music, and the game of golf. His boisterous personality and infectious laughter were balanced by his welcoming nature and easy-going attitude. He had an adventurous spirit and lived all the moments of his life with energy and fervor. Andrew was a loving son and brother, and a loyal friend. He will be missed by many and his memory will continue to thrive in our hearts forever.

Andrew was preceded in death by his Nanny, Dorothy D’Arcy; great-grandparents, William B. (Bill) Eubanks, Archie and Thelma (Jones) Harper, Marshall D. Meyer and Elmer L. Harris.

He is survived by his parents, Debbie Meyer of Alvin, Texas and Donnie Meyer of Kemah, Texas; his beloved brother and best friend, Matthew Meyer of League City, Texas; grandparents, Dale and Gloria Climer of Fulshear, Texas, and Don and Wanda (Harper) Meyer of Alvin; great-grandmothers, Kay Eubanks of Friendswood, Texas and Eva Louise Harris; aunts and uncles, Delee D’Arcy and Brian Stephens of League City, and Larry and Jodi (Meyer) Mensch and Michael Meyer, all of Alvin, Texas; cousins, Rachel and Ragan Robb and Meredith, and Michael and Megan Meyer, along with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
