A resident of Cramerton, Gaston County, North Carolina for more than 50 years, he was retired from Burlington Industries with 42 years of service. He was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Maiden, a charter member of the Cramerton Lions Club, past president of the senior citizens club of Cramerton, and a World War II veteran.
He was survived by his wife, Ethel Mae McCarn Campbell of Cramerton, Gaston County, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen Campbell and Yates David Keever, Jr., Maumelle, Pulaski County, Arkansas; sisters, Rose Marlowe and Lucy McRee; brothers Everett, Joe, Russell, and Aubrey; and one grandson, Bruce Keever, of Maumelle, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Daniel; and one sister, Minnie Kathleen.
