Son of Christopher/Christof "Stofel" Lozier (Losure) and Eva Elisabetha _______.
He married 1st to Maria Magdalena _____, to this union were born 3 children: Anna Elizabeth, Rosina, and Joseph.
After her death he married 2nd to Rosina Dumbauld (widow of Joseph Nathaniel Slaughter (Schlater)).
From his 2nd marriage were born 2 children: Simon Lozier and Sarah Lozier.
Most of his family migrated from Pennsylvania to Wayne County, Ohio. He and his 2nd wife and their 2 children, with his stepson John (Joseph John) Slaughter came to Perry County, Ohio in 1818. He, his wife and stepson all died within a few years of each other in Perry County. Simon Lozier married in 1824 in Perry County to Susana Sarah "Susan" Neel (who was raised in Perry County and was the daughter of James Neel and Katherine Kuhn), the couple migrated from Perry County, Ohio to Henry County, Iowa in 1839. After the death of her parents, Sarah Lozier went to live in Wayne County, Ohio with her Lozier kin. She married there in 1830 to her 1st cousin Joseph Lozier/Losure, the couple migrated in 1848 to Newville, DeKalb County, Indiana.
