William served in the United States Marine Corps from 1944 until honorably discharged in 1946. He was a graduate of Warren Easton High School and attended Tulane University. He was a sales representative for various apparel companies until retirement.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and volunteered with the men’s club. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
Per his wishes a private memorial was held and interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
