Virginia Davis passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Tulsa.
A graduate of The University of Tulsa and Northeastern State University, Virginia found great joy in her family, friends, and teaching for Tulsa Public Schools for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son, Glenn Richard Davis; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Janie Marie Avery and spouse, Stewart; daughter-in-law, Dawn Marie Davis; grandchildren, Erin (Brian) Bode, Lindsey (Nathan) Holden, Ashley Davis, and Emily Avery; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan Goddard (Clark) Reid.
The family greatly appreciates the amazing care given by Doug Taylor, Pam Kirby, Lori Ashenfelter, and Saint Francis Hospice. There will be a private family service.
