Died at a Norfolk Hospital following a tonsillectomy, due to previous poor health.

The eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mauer of Plainview. He worked in California for six years as a master welder.

He married Miss Winneta Reigle of Plainview about two years ago.

Survived by his wife; parents; and two brothers, Dale and Duane; and grandfather Leonard Blomquist.
