Edward Ferguson, 42, of Lacey's Spring, died yesterday at the Huntsville Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Oakdale Cemetery [should be Pleasant Point Cemetery], nine miles west of Athens with the Rev. Creel officiating. Laughlin Service Funeral Home of Huntsville was in charge.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Tula Ferguson; three daughters, Mrs. Dona Bramlett, Miss Betty Jane and Miss Nellie Louise Ferguson, all of Lacey's Spring; two sons, Luther and Grady; two brothers, Alex Ferguson of Tanner and Will Ferguson of Lacey's Spring; four sisters, Mrs. Susie Sanders of Tanner, Mrs. Annie Mae Lanier of Athens, Mrs. Sallie Jane Buchanan of Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Lura Elizabeth Springer of Athens; and two grandchildren.
