PORTSMOUTH—Mrs. Rose Barron Bittle, 69, of 120 Allen Road died Saturday night in a hospital.
A native of Berkley, she was widow of William R. Bittle and a daughter of James A and Mrs. Georgiana Weeks Barron.
She was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.
She was retired saleslady of Berson’s specialty shops.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Dibby B. Grimes of Portsmouth, Mrs. Vivian Wolf and Mrs. Marjorie Tate of San Diego, Calif and 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Snellings Funeral Home by D. T. A. Russell, retired Baptist minister. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will meet at 801 Victory Blvd.
