Mrs. Frances Ruth Partin, age 79, of Pleasant Hill Rd, Blairsville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her home. Frances was born December 19, 1940 in Union County, daughter of the late Prince and Minnie Conley Fair. She started her career at Hill-Lance Drugs and retired from Rite-Aid Pharmacy. Frances volunteered at Union County Historical Society and Meals on Wheels for many years. She loved mowing her grass, traveling, camping, riding the roads with Jackie, and playing cards with her friends. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren. She spent most of her time spoiling her granddaughters and their friends. She was considered “Nanny Fran” to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She was a member of Blairsville First Baptist Church where she loved to gather with the Rebekah Sunday School Class. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved son Scott in 1992 and her loving husband Charles in 2000.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
