Harold A Golubski, age 82, of Pierce City, MO passed away on Friday, November 06, 2020 at Lacoba Homes Inc. in Monett, MO. He was born in Pierce City, MO on Tuesday, January 18, 1938. He was the son of Leo Lawrence and Helen (Radke) Golubski. Mr. Golubski graduated from Pierce City High School. He served his country in the Navy for 1 1/2 years until his father passed away. Mr. Golubski was married to Vera Holland on Saturday, December 08, 1962 in Pierce City, MO and she preceded him in death on April 30, 2007. He worked at Consumers as a meat cutter for many years. He was a truck driver for Rodeo and worked in roofing for a while. He could carry shingles on both shoulders while going up the ladder. Mr. Golubski was a Fire Department volunteer for 35 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church until he moved to Eagle Rock, MO. Mr. Golubski enjoyed fishing, hunting deer, drinking beer, and being outdoors.
Surviving are three sons, Michael (Susie) Golubski of San Diego, CA, Leo (Tammy) Golubski of Pierce City, MO, and Harold Golubski, Jr. of Pierce City, MO; one daughter, Julia (Casey) Patterson of Freistatt, MO; three sisters, Sharon Woodruff of Monett, MO, Loretta Terry of TX, and Rosie Cheek of Bentonville, AR; twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. Golubski was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Helen; his wife, Vera; a brother, Leon; and two sisters, JoAnn Pendleton and Patsie Lynn.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Monday, November 09, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Graveside services, including Military Honors, will follow at the Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO at 11:15 AM with Father Matt Rehrauer officiating.
