He was born May 31, 1947, in Garden City, to Jack and Joyce Whiting Edmundson. He grew up in the Dighton area, attended Amy Grade School, graduated from Dighton High School in 1965 and then attended Goodland Vocational Technical School.
A Dighton resident until moving to McCracken in the late 1970s, Mr. Edmundson worked in farming while living in McCracken. He also owned and operated his own house-painting business. He enjoyed reading, gardening and lapidary.
He married Cathy Christiansen in Dighton.
Survivors include two sons, Todd Edmundson of Golden, Colo., and Samuel Sage Edmundson of Lincoln; his mother, of Lakin; a brother, Mitch Edmundson of Dighton; two sisters, Jacque Marsh and Mary Jo Wilkison, both of Lakin; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Burial was in Dighton Memorial Cemetery.
