J. "Bea" Beatrice Anderson, 97, of Beaufort, SC, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 in Ridgeland Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 3-5pm at Anderson Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00am in The Baptist Church of Beaufort with interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
Bea was born on December 3, 1919 in Hampton County, SC. She is the daughter of the late James Robert Anderson and Orean Adams Anderson.
She was a life member of The Baptist Church of Beaufort since 1934, where she was secretary of her Sunday School Class and helped prepare the Lord’s Supper. She worked many years for Belk as a Bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilson Anderson, Otis Anderson and Carl Anderson; one sister, Edith Higgerson.
Surviving are seven nieces, Joyce, Janice, Sandy, Marsha, Emily, Cheryl and Carla; two nephews, Larry and Robert.
