Lula Morgan Rodgers, 76, of Greenville, SC, died November 24, 1964, at 11:45 a.m. at a local hospital after several years of declining health and three weeks of serious illness.

Born in Greer, SC; a daughter of the late Robert Morgan and Rebecca Jones Morgan; wife of Walter W. Rodgers; and had lived in Greenville since 1932.

A member of Sans Souci Baptist Church.

Other survivors include her daughters, Helen R. Green and Mary R. Johnson; a sister, Carrie Morgan Hilton; brother, S. Jesse Morgan; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Also predeceased by a son, Walter W. Rodgers Jr.; and sister, Effie Mae Morgan Wood (1882–1959).

Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, at Mackey Mortuary by Rev. A. Boyd Turner and Rev. Roy Q. Gregg; burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
