Billy Ray Ball, age 74, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020, at his home in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
Born May 15, 1946, in McCreary County, he was the son of the late Andy Oscar and Reba Elizabeth (Towe) Ball. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Paul Ball and Freddie Ball and sisters: Mary Alene (Ball) Meadows and Sara Ball.
Surviving family include his wife of 53 years, Lena (Martin) Ball, daughter, Regina Duncan, sons; Tim (and Jackie) Ball and Michael (and Kim) Ball.
Brothers: Arthur Ball and Luther Ball, sister, Imogene (Ball) King.
Grandchildren: Frannie (and Chester) Hicks, Tiffany Ball, Taylor Ball, Kyle Duncan and Travis Ball. Great-grandchildren: Dalton Godbey, Maleha Godbey, and Spencer Smith.
Bill was a logger who loved the outdoors, hunting, and going to church. He enjoyed playing his guitar. He was a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Pleasant Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
