He is the son of Oliver Webster and Patience Wright. Husaband of Mary Corey, he married her in 1804 in Essex Co., New York. They had 12 children: Charles Roy, Sarah, Paul, Patience, Oliver, Mary, Clarissa, Pelatiah, Daniel Albert, Lucius, Louisa, and Jane Charlotte. He was a farmer of Deerfield, Ma., Hillsboro, NY., and Lock, Knox Co., Ohio. He removed from Ma. to NY., via Plattsburg, in 1804 and to Ohio in a ox cart in 1811. He was a local Methodist preacher. He had owned over 600 acres of land in Lock, Knox Co., Ohio. Pelatiah and Mary Corey Webster were living in Milford, Knox Co., Ohio in the 1830, 1840, 1850, and 1860 Ohio Census.
