Mrs. Anna Elaine "Cupie" Behnke Henley of Salem, Illinois, entered her Heavenly Home October 22, 2020. Elaine graduated from Salem High School. She worked as a photography assistant and in retail sales. She is a member of Salem Lutheran Church where she served several years as financial secretary and assisted with Labor of Love dinners.
A Celebration of Elaine's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Salem Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Feldmann officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Paradise Cemetery in Salem, Illinois. He preceded her in death September 19, 1988. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Herman Behnke (sister-in-law Pat), Harold Behnke (sister-in-law Katherine), Kenneth Behnke (sister-in-law Velma), and Raymond Behnke, Nephews, Kenneth C. "KC" Behnke, Nieces, Mary Ann Behnke Edwards, Gloria Behnke Harris and Jan Wolf Plott.
