ARTESIA - Mary A. Morgan, 76, of Tenakee Springs, Alaska, died Sunday, Sept 3, 1995, in Artesia.
Closed casket services will be held 10:30 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allen Walker officiating. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery.
Terpening & Son Mortuary Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 14, 1919, in Bonham, Texas. She married Ernest C. Morgan on June 26, 1941, in Carlsbad.
She came to Artesia in 1938 from Floydada, Texas, and moved to Tulsa, Okla., in 1972. She later moved to Alaska.
Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and mother and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was site manager of the Senior Citizens Program in Tenakee Springs until the spring of 1985.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nannie Dunn Adair; sisters, Lucy Adair and Grace Key; and brother Dan Adair.
Survivors include her husband of Artesia; daughter, Pamela Moore of Capitan, N.M.; sons, Douglas Morgan and Christ Morgan, both of Artesia, and Donald Morgan of Tenakee Springs; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
