Jimmy Wayne Helton was born on October 13, 1955, in Harlan County, Kentucky, the son of Charlie Helton, who survives, of East Bernstadt, and the late Gertrude Powell Helton. He was united in marriage to Brenda Haney Helton, who survives of East Bernstadt. He is also survived by three siblings, Robert Helton and wife, Rosemary, of Pittsburg, Charlie Helton, Jr. and wife, Jeannie, of London, and Suzanne Woodruff and husband, Kenny, of East Bernstadt, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing. In addition to his mother, he is also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Bell and an infant son, David Wayne Helton.

He was the former owner of Laurel Garbage Collection and a member of the River of Life Holiness Church.

Jimmy Wayne Helton departed this life at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2020, being 65 years and 19 days of age.

Funeral services for Jimmy Wayne Helton will be conducted at 1 PM Thursday at the River of Life Holiness Church at East Bernstadt with Charlie Helton and Suzanne Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow in the A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
