ARDELL RUBY THOMAS FOGERSON -- Beloved wife of the late David W. Fogerson, Sr., mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and endeared friend entered into rest March 22, 2002. Left in loving memory are son, David W. Fogerson, Jr. and his wife Marjorie; daughter-in-law Helen Fogerson, wife of Donald W. Fogerson who preceded her in death; seven grandchildren, Melody Meyers, Candi Goelz, Meri Helen Buch, Randi Rabin, Juliana Banks, Wayne Fogerson, and David William Fogerson; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and life-long loyal friends. Ruby was a resident of the San Fernando Valley from 1946 to 1976. During that time she worked for the United States Postal Service in Canoga Park, California. Ruby and her husband David moved to Quartz Hills in 1976. They were members of the Disciples of Christ Central Christian Church in Van Nuys and First Christian Church in Lancaster, California. Ruby was dedicated to serving her Lord in many capacities, willing to help and showing herself friendly to all. "Her children rise up and call her blessed." Proverbs 31:28a Visitation will be 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday (today), March 27, 2002.
