Benson was full of life; active and always ready for an adventure. He was a voracious reader, deeply contemplative and a critical thinker. His connection to the Divine was interior and private but evidenced in how he loved. Benson was a tender soul who could find beauty in any place or situation and always pointed other toward that beauty and light. Known as Fish to his friends, he was the funniest, most insightful and compassionate man most will ever meet.
