FLINTSTONE - Audrey Patricia Almany, 87, passed away, Monday, October 19, 2020.

She was a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, MO, and retired from the Walker County School System, having taught at Fairyland Elementary for 34 years.

Mrs. Almany had bowled for over 40 years and served as Secretary of many bowling leagues for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Wilbur Keith “Slim” Almany; parents, Leslie and Audrey Helvie; four brothers; one sister; brother-in-law, Don Almany; sister-in-law, Henrietta Almany.

Survivors are son, Les (Amy) Almany; grandson, Dakota (Elizabeth) Almany; granddaughter, Madison Almany (Cody); great-grandson, Hudson Almany; sister-in-law, Norma Almany; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Special thanks to Hospice Center of Chattanooga and Dr. Kathleen Locker.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
