Albert Clark Rinehimer attended the public schools in Elgin, and the Elgin Academy, and as a youth worked in the 'gum factory', a pioneer Elgin manufacturing establishment. Later he was employed in the pattern room of the Elgin Watch factory, and after that he became a woodworker in his Father's plant. He later traveled throughout the west before returning to take over the firm his Father founded.
He was presented a 50 year pin in recognition of his long membership in the Odd Fellows. He had also belonged to the Woodmen organization. He married Ada Boyles on July 24, 1888 at Lake Geneva, Walworth County, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on October 22, 1916. He then married Flora Hoyt. He Fathered two children from his first marriage, a daughter Helen Rinehimer Stevens and a son Charles (Chick) Rinehimer.
