Born in Neeses, SC, he was a son of the late Michael Martin Bolin and Jessie Belle Williams Bolin. After high school, Roger join the United States Air Force. He served his country proudly for over 22 years before his retirement. Later he worked as a tv repairman for Sarge’s TV Repair and also worked as a carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 10 years. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard and loved to go fishing.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by; six brothers, Wells C. Bolin, Wilbert W. Bolin, Windred M. Bolin, L. Wallace Bolin, Weimer M. Bolin and Wesley W. Bolin; and four sisters, Mary B. Mitchell, Nerine Bolin, Virginia B. Kane and Miriam B. Craft.
