CANTON - Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 a. m. at the New Hope Methodist Church, three miles north of Winona, for Andrew Wilson Collins, 71, who died suddenly Monday morning at the Kings Daughters Hospital In Canton. Mr. Collins had suffered a stroke earlier In the morning and died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.
A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Collins was a retired farmer, who had lived south of Canton for several years. He was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church.
Officiating will be Rev. C. Burden. Interment will be at the New Hope Cemetery, with arrangements in charge of the Canton Undertaking Company. His body will remain at the funeral home chapel until Tuesday morning.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alton Taylor of Canton and one sister, Mrs. James Hawkins, Winona.
